Before you start downloading Endnote you should read this:

The University Library supports Endnote version 9.0.1. Version X 1.0 is however also available.

Version 9 is not backward compatible with 7 or lower. Endnote libraries created in previous versions will need to be converted before they can be opened in version 9.

Libraries created in version 8 or higher cannot be opened directly in previous versions, instead the references must be exported to a text file using the Refer Export format and then imported into the earlier version library using the Refer/BibIX import option.

• click the “Agree” button in the left frame
• In the “Free search text” bar type: endnote
• Click the start button
• Choose the “Download” link in the “Endnote 9.0.1 ….” line and follow the instructions.
